36 hours and counting. . .

Only about 36 hours until we meet our newest little boy! We’ll be heading to Tainan tomorrow (Monday) morning, then picking up our son at the orphanage the next day. We’re so close. . .

Today (Sunday), we started the day by attending an English-speaking church service that meets at the Taipei American School in the Tien Mu area. We then had lunch at MOS Burgers, a fast food chain that serves sandwiches on patties of rice instead of buns. On our way back to the hotel, we wandered into a food festival at the expo center (the Taiwanese LOVE food). Then, this afternoon we spent some time browsing at the Weekend Jade & Flower Markets. Then had dinner at the Gordon Biersch Restaurant over near Taipei 101. Here are a few photos from our day.

My burger from MOS Burgers at lunch, made with rice patties instead of a bun.

Today's unusual sightings. . .two are performers, the one in the middle is a statue (in case you weren't sure...)
