We’re checked in, made it through security with no problems. . .now we are waiting to board our first flight. And I found a Caribou coffee shop at the airport! I used to drink Caribou Coffee regularly before Starbucks took over most of their shops. This morning I treated myself to one of their signature Turtle Mocha drinks. It may be my last hot coffee for a while, as the weather in Taiwan looks HOT and I may just stick with cold bottled water while we are there.
For those of you who have been following my posts about packing strategies, I wanted to share a photo of our bags for this trip. We are doing carry-on only once again. Our carry-on bags each weighed in at 22 lbs, plus we have our two personal items (my husband has the laptop bag and I have my backpack, loaded down with reading material and snacks for the plane). I have a list of items we need to buy for our son once we get to Taiwan, including an umbrella-style stroller. I did pack some clothing, baby medicines and my Ergo Baby Carrier in our bags.
