Travel (2009 Trip)
We traveled to Taiwan to meet our son in September 2009 – it was an amazing trip! We went a week early so we could spend a few days sightseeing on our own. We spent the first few days in Taipei, then traveled by train down Taiwan’s east coast to Hualien (Taroko Gorge) for a couple of days. We then returned to Taipei to catch the High Speed Rail to Tainan in southern Taiwan, where our son was living in an orphanage. We spent two days in Tainan before returning to Taipei.
