Welcome to our blog. We are David and Cindy from Virginia. Cindy is a stay-at-home mom to our two wonderful children. We have decided to adopt our next child, and hope to bring a child home from Taiwan within the next couple of years. We welcome your prayers for our journey and for our family.
“Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.” James 1:27

Hi guys,
Love the blog. The format is easy on the eye and you present your info. in such a refreshingly clear manner. We look forward to following your journey and can’t wait to eventually see pics of you and your child united as a family.
BTW – where in VA are you? I grew up in Colonial Heights, near Petersburg. My parents are still there.

Hi Cindy!

Sounds like we have a lot in common. I am also a SAHM with 2 children. We are almost ready to submit our application to FFC. We have finished our letter of introduction and have chosen our photos. I look forward to following your blog. Would love to talk more via email!

I am so excited for you two! As an adopted child myself I know how important a great Mom and Dad can be! I was only 6 days old when I was adopted. Never met my birth parents, never really care to. God sent me to two of the most wonderful parents a child could ask for and I am sure he will bless you new little one the same way. Please keep me posted.

Hi! Just browsing. My husband and I are just starting to gather info in adoption and infertility. We have thought about adopting from Taiwan as my dad is Taiwanese and my mom was Caucasian. I wish you luck on your adoption! Hopefully,I will have a similar story soon!
